Change the router or access point settings to use a different wireless channel, or set the channel to be selected automatically if it is set to a fixed channel number. Sometimes one wireless channel is clearer than others. - cable modems and routers are very simple to setup the main thing you need to do is clone the cable modem Mac address this is done on the main router screens.
- firewalls and antivirus programs do sometimes get in the way .So if you do still have a problem shutdown these programs for now.

internet service provider
MAC stands for 'Migration Authorisation Code'. It enables you to switch from most broadband providers, with a minimum loss of downtime. Your current Internet Service Provider (ISP) is required to offer you two ways of requesting a MAC and to communicate your MAC code to you free of charge within 5 working days (ofcom rules), so that your transition from one provider to another can be completed. The MAC can usually be requested over the phone and is valid for a maximum of 30 calendar days from issue.
Traffic Management Policy
If your internet slow's down or it can stops at or around the same time then your provider could be using this. I was on one provider that slowed that slow down there connection to lower then 0.75mbs from 5pm to 12 midnight and we could not use the internet.
If you are having that same problem keep a log of your speeds speedtest.net including the link for pic.
This will help build your case against
your internet service provider
